Birthday Parties & Jam Sessions

So a few weeks ago I went over to my great Aunt Sissy's house, a.k.a. Nuna, to celebrate my cousin Billy's birthday. It was a pretty sweet deal. We had a massive amount of food goin' on which included some ever so yummy crab! Mmmm! During, which of course, a food fight broke out! Beware flying slices of hard-boiled egg! It will get stuck in your beard Billy and paint it a lovely shade of yellow! Then it was time for Billy to blow out his candles. Yipee! Of course a party isn't a party without some good tunes! So through out the night we could all be found downstairs playing on all of Billy's equipment which includes an electronic drum kit, 2 keyboards, a bass, a 1968 Gibson SG and his newest purchase, a 2003-04 Fender Stratocaster. So we had Billy and his son Will on the electric and bass, Maggie's fiance Joel on the drums, and I was adding the smooth sounds of the keyboards...er something. I also dinked around on the drums a bit too. And at one point I pretended I knew what I was doing with the bass. When realistically Will was just telling me what strings to strum while he layed down a track on the guitar. Then when the night was getting on, the old people, a.k.a Billy, decided they needed to go to bed. And since my car was being awesome and my headlights were outta commission, which only took $350 to replace the part and now they work again...grrrrr...I had to abandon my car at Nuna's for the night. So I accompanied Will to yet another birthday party of his friend...yeah I dont remember his name...sorry dude. Anyway so we headed to downtown Burien to a club where the fiesta was taking place. Needless to say just about every one of his friends bought him a birthday drink so I think a few hours and something like 15 drinks, birthday boy was three sheets to the wind! Meanwhile a trio of peoples sitting next to us, which included as Will put it, the most beautiful girl he has every seen, decided that I looked exactly like Winona Ryder. Ok...I dont see it. Anyway, Will and I headed back to his place to crash for the night. But not before making a pit stop at the Jack in the Box drivethrough for some breakfast that, let's face it, tastes the best at 2am! But by far the best part was that I got to drive Will's fire engine red Lexus! I dont know the model but this beauty had pedal shifters on the steering wheel. So need you ask if I obeyed the speed limit? That would be a very big negatory! So thus ended the festivities when we rolled out of bed around 1pm, but of course not before we finished watching Wayne's World 2! Ex-squeeze me? Baking powder?
